You can pay with credit/debit card and online banking almost everywhere. Most businesses even support Contactless payment so you can use your phone/watch/whatever. Only small businesses or businesses with relatively old customers don't support cards, because the fees are high and it's not worth investing in an expensive system. People generally just don't use cards as much as elsewhere, but you could if you wanted to.
