The copper is still there for the taking, but will you start hoarding copper pennies? It will be gone some day, maybe sooner than you think. To hoard copper is a store of wealth. Copper will only go up in value. Copper pennies is merely a trade off of your fiat dollar to the exchange of a commodity, at no cost, just your spare time. Start copper penny hoarding today. Time is running out.

My dad taught me this as a kid. My mom worked in the bank, and i gave her $10.00 of my babysitting money. Would go through all the pennies and pulled out copper pennies, 1982 and older. Wheat pennies I kept separate. Back then, I can't tell you how many proof set pennies from 1982 and older I pulled out of those rolls. That told me that people were desperate, or didn't know any better. Those I kept in individual rounds until I had enough and sold them. The money I made from them, I bought junk silver. Been doing this for over 30 years. Still have a lot of copper pennies held in 5 gallon water jugs full and wheat pennies are separate from the other copper pennies. Have grown my silver stash as well with pennies.

Oh how I love penny time 🤗. Just scrolling down and there you be.

I need to get more penny tubes so I can separate them like that. Great idea.
I was going to ask you how the house thing is going, but this is 10 months ago and I don’t want to freak you out. 🤪👍

Digital currency is going to make real currency worthless. I hear that and pray America will get its head out of its butt and wake up

Watching you pass up transitional pennies. Maybe you will check them later?

I keep them in 32oz yogurt containers...I have 8 containers, they each top out at 8 pounds.
Copper pennies are 3.05 grams to 3.15 grams...or about $$11.70/containers. So I am close to 4 boxes of copper pennies or 10, 000. This does not include any copper 1982 (of which I have 6 pounds) or wheat.
My goal?
500 pounds. $750 worth.

My last box had 8 Wheat cents in the first 9 rolls, including a 1917. And a beautifully toned 1976 that someone carved the major Hawaiian Islands on to the field in front of Lincoln's face
