Amsoil is the best, definitely worth it if you plan to keep your car for as long as possible. Only company actually innovating with TRUE full synthetic that is superior to all other oils. You can tell they are making the highest quality products they possibly can.

Amsoil might be a great oil but it's too expensive, you can find great quality oil at a lower cost IMO. I have had great experience using Pentosin Full synthetic I haven't need more.

I use Amsoil OE in 2 cars and find no problem at all. The reason I use Amsoil is not because it is a good oil in marketing terms. I made a few researches before switching to Amsoil. The easiest way to understand is that, Amsoil can make synthetic transmission fluid for both CVT and non-CVT cars. While others like Mobil 1 could not present their ATF products with good vehicle coverage. Castrol have just made their multi vehicle synthetic transmission being presented at Walmart recently. Only Valvoline and Amsoil can present their ATF products with good coverage. I go for Amsoil for being consistent with their price. Brands of engine oil will be decide by their technology and ingredients, if they can make good and wide coverage ATF fluid then no question to ask about the quality of engine oil as ATF fluid is harder to make.

You know there are only 3 companies in the USA that make base oil right and one of them is lubrizol which is owned by Penzoil and exxonMobil amsoil does not make its own base oil something to think about.

If Amsoil weren't the best oil, it wouldn't be the factory pour for Porsche, Mclaren, AMG Mercedes, high performance GM models, Aston martin, and a bunch of others. Oh, wait: those manufacturers all use Mobil 1. Amsoil is a factory pour for nobody.

You can use the cheapest synthetic oil and change every 3000. Also, check your oil levels every 500 miles to make sure your vehicle is not burning any oil.

I only use mobile one 5 w 30 advance full synthetic oil no issue live by mobile

I think Amsoil is a quality oil, but definitely a marketing scheme of used car salesmen. I won’t spend the money on it mainly because the distributors haven’t changed their sales strategies, …used car salesmen of the year!

Amsoil drains slower which means the engine will work hard and probably not coat as well not bad but aswell, which leads to lower fuel mpg

Not sure it makes that much of a difference on these newer cars. I used to use Amsoil in everything but with the new 0w20s everyone has to use I feel like it doesn’t last any longer. I don’t even go the recommended 6, 000 miles between, every 3-4. By 4 I can tell

Im Spanish. Here in Spain...
Amsoil signature series 5w30 here in Spain is 60% base Pao and 20% base Ester. The problem wirh this oil is that. has a low htts . Has a high % magnesium fot avoid autoignition and connecting rod cut?. If u want extra protection amsoil sigmature series 0w40 is 20% base ester 60% base Pao woth a high hhtts.

Mobil 1 uses is their bases 40% base GTL that is group 3 plus and 40% ester here in Spain the mobil1 esp 5w30 and 0w30
