I keep my propane tank in the milk crate all the time. Keeps it off the ground when in use

A wise friend told us, “don’t leave your water pump on! RV plumbing is notorious for leaking and keeping it under pressure invites surprises under your sink and everywhere else.”
He turns on the pump, uses the water, and relieves pressure on the entire system when done. We leave a tiny bit of water in the kitchen line sometimes when we need just a dribble.

Yes, people using impact drivers are the worst. Nothing like trying to enjoy the peace and quiet and then all of a sudden feeling like I'm at an auto shop!🤣

hadn't thought about the Impact driver issue... I'll try using the drill driver.. Thanks!

Great point on the impact driver. Had a late arriving neighbor this summer who came in at 11pm and used their impact driver to lower their stabilizers. Woke us from a sound sleep and we thought the world was coming to an end!

You know those rv park metal sewer caps? The kind that has the built in lever you push down with your foot, that then lifts the cap so you can put your sewer connection into their sewer system…..when you’re finished and you push the lever with your gloved hand so you can remove your sewer hose DON’T let the cap drop! You’ll get splattered.

You have a large milkcrate. I use the square type and it snugly holds the tank. I still strap it in but its more stable in the bed of the truck with a wider flat bottom

Don’t plug you water hose straight into your city water. Use a 90 degree hose fitting. Reduces the torque on you city water fitting and the hose lays flush to the side of you trailer reducing a potential tripping hazard. Cheap preventative fix.😊

Here's a tip, folks, don't pump grease in your RV bearing buddies! Every couple years, depending on how many miles you tow, remove the wheels amd disassemble the bearings, clean all old grease out, inspect bearings and races, inspect and test your brakes and then repack bearings with fresh grease, also replace the grease seals. You don't want to know what happens when a bearing seizes up while towing down the freeway. Usually, the entire wheel and hub breaks off and goes screaming across the freeway towards oncoming traffic!

I love the magnetic safety latches. We have toddler grand daughter.

We know to check and monitor our tire pressure but don’t forget the spare RV spare and tow vehicle spare.

Drill vs Impact- yes yes yes- say it again louder for those in the back Jared! If you “need” an impact driver to actuate your stabilizers… there is something bent or mis-aligned- they’re designed to function with a hand crank, folks just like to use a drill to save time and yes, they are SO loud- its the sound little baby stabilizers have nightmares about 😂

Wow Jarrod, I’ve been full time RVing for 5 years- I learned a few things with this video! Thanks

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen (and heard) people use impact drivers on their stabilizers. I shake my head.

Hey nice milk crate. I work for Shamrock Farms as a dairy driver out in AZ. Don't get caught with that crate. They do prosecute

Wow! I feel stupid now for not flushing my water filters! Now I understand what clogged my toilet valve last year! It was black and fine little particles and probably came from the new filter I installed! You never stop learning! Thanks!

For keeping the cupboards doors closed, I use a bungee cord. I would run the cord from the handle of the one door to the handles of the other two doors. A correct length cord stretched from(or through) the handles will keep the doors closed.

Don’t run black water first 🤯. What you say, listen, pull the grey water handle first, just for a couple seconds to make sure everything is hooked up correctly, then close and pull the black water handle.
Yep, learned the hard way 😢

I can vouch for the impact driver damaging the levelers. It bent a piece of the stabilizer that was easy to replace but much better to not bend it, lol

Don’t mix up fresh hose and sewer hose. I keep mine in two separate places, but still but strips of black tape on the black hose. Foolproof
