Aot has one of the most saddest love stories ever but I really loved how they didn't push their relationship in the plot, like their love story was already a part of the story since the beginning. To me the growing feelings between Eren and Mikasa didn't just happen because of the sake of "charecter development" or any anything added separately for the plot. It was already there

I hate and love incomplete love stories. And this is one of the reasons why I really loved AOT: the love story is not glaring. It's there but it's not the center of attraction. there's a bigger story and love is not the priority. I love it.

I am sorry to say this, but I do love Attack on Titan. However, it breaks my heart that the creator didn't give those two characters a loving kiss. When I heard the story, I felt frustrated. I was like you “bastard” I wasn’t really trying to insult anyone; it was just painful to miss out on that kiss scene.

Another sad fact in my opinion is when Mikasa wonders if she give Eren a different answer during their trip to Marley instead of family zone him.

From what I can tell from her expression, i can tell Mikasa realize she regrets her answer. She reallt wanted to make it up but by telling Eren to come home and stop the Rumbling.

However, everything has been determined as he has seen in his future memories since the Medal Ceremony. Kinda heartbreaking to see your lover's fate has already been sealed from the start. And the fact Eren is a slave to both freedom he had hungered for since childhood and destiny he doesn't want any part of but most go with the role of being the monster the world hates.
