I like the fact that this story/show depicts death in such an honest way—- ppl die in their own way or the way allowed to them, based on circumstance, most of which, are beyond their control. It’s sad to see these two good characters die so horrifyingly and somewhat pathetically—- but it’s the same hit for when so many others died either cowardly(like the Historia’s father) or utterly courageously(Erwin and half the corps members fighting Zeke)… or just plain senselessly(Eren’s mom or Ramzi). It’s so hard to watch characters literally fall into pure madness when they’re dying(Nanaba)—- it’s also as hard to watch them face it all and go out in a blaze of glory (Hange), but that’s apart of the point, the true reality of the savage brutality of death, and how it really does depend on an individual’s own self, how they will be when it comes for them, especially the form it takes! 😢😢😢😶
