The reason I chose Anesthesiology is for the critical care aspect of the field that we have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. In addition, the pathophysiology we get at our hospital is very unique and allows for us to have a comprehensive scope of practice. Challenging cases are abundant and oftentimes special anesthetic practices are used and tailor to specific patients in order to ensure safety and improved outcomes.

I really want to get the job to live a stress free life. A lot of money to sustain the life of your family. However I will never forget the stress I'd be living with for 12 years before I become a certified anesthesiologist.

I live in Canada and here it’s 2 years of college before university and so I’m 16 now and graduating next year and I know I want to go into the medical field but I’m not exactly sure where to go but I’m definitely leaning towards anesthesiology since I also like chemistry!
