HOW to BECOME an ANESTHESIOLOGIST | What is Anesthesia? | Why I chose to become an Anesthesiologist!

Hey everyone and welcome back to my channel💕
So I've gotten hundreds of messages from some of my followers asking how to become an anesthesiologist as well as expressing their interest in the field! I decided to make this video that briefly discusses what an Anesthesiologist does, steps to becoming one, and why I chose Anesthesia as my specialty!

In upcoming videos, I will discuss in detail what residency programs look at to determine which applicants are extended an interview! After understanding all the components of matching into a specialty, I will discuss more about the average test score requirements, research opportunities, and contiguous ranks regarding anesthesia and a few additional highlighted specialties, based on NRMP data!
