It kinda surprises me that this one never caught on like an Accord or Camry. So much classier looking in my opinion.

I bought a 2021 Mazda 6 Carbon Edition this past June. I love it. I like that you didn’t see them in every corner…the fact that it is being discontinued only attracts me more, because it will be more rare.

50k miles on a 2015 Grand Touring with zero issues. One of the best sedans available hands down.

Hands down one of the best, if not the best looking family sedan out there. I was going to buy one a couple of years ago but the lack of interior space made me decide to go for an accord. I'm pretty sure a lot of potential buyers felt the same way. So Mazda, next time you design a family car make sure it will be more spacious like the accord or camry.

Well, at least they sent it out with a bang! Absolutely LOVE my 2021 Carbon Edition. Easily a head turner, even though it’s an old body style. Also, Mazda did a great job keeping it updated through the years with HUD, cooled seats, Wireless CarPlay etc. You can’t even get some of that on brand new some cars costing double what this costs (looking at Tesla & Infiniti).

I’m glad they only made it for one model year. It’ll be a rare sporty and economical find years from now when all manufacturers switch to making SUVs. I expect it to hold its value the best out of all the Mazda 6s

I bought a 2021 Mazda6 Signature in January, just like the one you drove in this review, and I love it! It looks great, especially the interior. The 2.5L Turbo has plenty of zip, it's comfortable and drives smoothly, it's a lot of fun to drive, and the Bose audio system is fantastic. The only downsides I've experienced are the slow, outdated infotainment system and some excessive wind noise at highway speeds. They're very minor issues though, in my opinion. It's really a terrific car overall.

I had a White 2018 Signature edition. That brown interior was glorious and the car drove and handled like a dream. The engine had lots of torque so it didn't need to downshift a lot and it felt great in the corners. After a year and a half it had ZERO squeaks or rattles and still felt solid. It was a great car, I hope Mazda doesn't make it too expensive for regular folks with the new rear drive layout etc.

Let it be known that the Mazda 6 is only going away in America and Canada, the rest of the world will continue to enjoy this car.

This breaks my heart! I love my 2019 Grand Touring Reserve in Soul Crystal Red. I actually bought it after owning four Hyundais because the seats fit my behind better than the Sonata of the same year. Great pickup, good mpg (27.4) over the last 5, 000 miles, and fantastic styling. The only thing I really miss are additional lower driving lights. I do love the bright white headlights and the fact that they turn as you turn. The interior is the prettiest I have ever had in any car I have ever owned. I would buy another even if it didn't have AWD. I have my Santa Fe for that.

I had the pleasure of owning this car briefly before returning back to school full time and having to get something more affordable. It was my favorite vehicle I’ve driven to date after being in VW’s, Audis, Hondas, Toyotas, Lexus and a BMW 3 series (a lot of test drives and rentals, most of which occurred during owning my VW.. go figure). The 6 Turbo was.. a love story on wheels. It was the fastest, but one of the most thrilling. Not even just for a 4 door family car but I’d say it was a sports sedan at an affordable price. It handled beautifully and felt planted. The power delivery was flawless and was always ready to burn some rubber or pass with ease. It’s truly sad to see such an amazingly engineered vehicle be put to rest. If the rumors are true it may come back as a RWD sedan in the next couple years. However, seeing this car get the chop hurts my heart quite a bit. It’s one of the only cars I’ve had a love for.

I own a Mazda 6 touring black exterior and interior. Its a beautiful car. It does make sense that they are discontinuing it because of lack of sells. You rarely see any Mazda 6 on the road. But that's what I like about owning one. Bc I feel like I'm the only one that owns one in my city.

The Mazda6 with the 6 speed manual was a dream when it was offered. The 2.5T is great; however, AWD isn’t possible with the current chassis design which is a bummer. I’ll have to disagree on the wireless charging and touch screen. Wireless charging that I’ve used in multiple vehicles is slow and doesn’t always activate. It warms the phone nicely though. The infotainment rotary knob is simple to use and allows the driver to keep his/her eyes on the road which is why they haven’t gone touch screen.

I have a 2014 Mazda 6 touring, and it has 160 Thousand Miles. All I had to change was the battery and alternator belt. It's still running great, I love it. I think I might need a new motor mount soon, because the engine starting to shake a little... but it still runs amazing.

I had a 2003 6, 4 cylinder, sport. Loved it. Got 185k out of it. Aside from the transmission failing at 75k (not fun) it was a solid vehicle and fun to drive.

Mazda has already announced that the Mazda6 is coming back in 2022 as an Inline 6 RWD. It's not going anywhere so I don't know why you're saying goodbye to it.

Why no mention of the replacement, the rear wheel drive inline 6 sedan? It’s due to come out next year as they position themselves more upmarket.

For a mainstream family sedan, the Mazda 6 is exceptionally good looking, inside and out. I'm curious to see what they do with the nameplate when Mazda tries to turn it into a legitimate BMW competitor. At least that's what's rumored right now.

"you're looking at a living dinosaur...." as a man of "a certain age", that's probably why I bought one this summer. First new car that I bought in 15 years, and yes I did get a deal on it. Guess there's a benefit to being a dinosaur buying an aptly jurassic car. Mine is a touring (non turbo) model, and frankly I'm OK with that. I'm the kind of person that tends to hang on to a car for a long time and the thought that the engine won't be under that kind of stress works for me. To be sure, I'm a recovering motorhead, so Mazda was always on my radar as a company that builds a driver's car. Even with the base engine, this is indeed a driver's car. I've owned a few performance cars over the years and I would put this one at the top of the list in terms of handling. The base engine/trans isn't a dog either...for virtually every kind of driving the powertrain will deliver what you need when you need it. In the current world, there's something to be said for MPG as well. You will get 40 on the highway at speeds of 70 + and 30 around town if you're not heavy at the lights. It's not Camry mileage, but this looks and feels better. When you're driving it, you're DRIVING.
