I had a smart Fortwo convertible! I did a chip tuning and it became as powerful as the brabus version. In the city it took 4, 2 l. Outside the city 3, 8 l. Top speed was before chip tuning 160 km/h after I reached 200 km/h. The convertible was at higher speed loud inside. Because of the better drivetrain and breaks I would recommend the brabus for the Autobahn. But up to 130 km/h it is quite comfortable. Because of the small engine and small room inside you could even drive in winter with roof down. It is also very spacey inside for two person with up to 2 meter body hight. Insurance is low and tax too. Repairing the car is very easy and cheap. It has body panels you can replace by yourself. Driving it is the best part. A little pocket rocket. You feel like in a go cart and the maneuverability is insane. I smiled all the time in this little car. Even now I am trying to find a Brabus ultimate edition. Which is the super luxury edition of the car. They are limited and prices went through the roof but I hope they will fall maybe in future. But the Brabus version is also a little more luxurious and more sportive.

Smart for two is cool but I broke the turn stalk at the Mercedes visitor's center. This was 2005 and I'm sure they use solid materials now. 😇
