Dude, because of you I learned in one month how to heal and do m+. Just yesterday I finally managed to do +15 with pugs. Thanks a lot

This is one of the best videos ever. Right up there with Preach's series in legion for the various roles. I just jumped into healing for the first time midway through 8.3 and I'm loving it but until this week was always anxious. I watch your videos over and over to gain insight into the way to think through a dungeon. I appreciate the hard work and love the videos and knowledge you've gained during your time.

8:05 not only can you afford more mistakes, but if your group does 20% more damage, that's 20% less time your tank and healer have to mitigate incoming damage

Good tips overall. One I'd add, more for dps, is practice your rotation on training dummies until you can do your rotation nearly perfect with your eyes closed. The less attention you have to pay to your basic rotation, the easier it is to do mechanics, get interrupts, pull saving CC, etc. The #1 problem I see when I do keys with newer/lower IO players is they spend way too much of their focus just doing dps.

Dude you are helping me a lot with your videos. Please keep em coming. I started a Druid 2 weeks ago and you already got me to speed for Shadowlands. I'm doing low keys with ease and getting the feel for weaving into cat and bear form. Many thanks

"do keys even when it's not an upgrade". As someone who went through the WHOLE of BFA only plugging (being a tank class really helped, even if non meta class) this is really important.

While Im almost traumatised with the amount of crap I took from random ppl, it's also how, by the end of 8.3, I've met a really fun and good team who had just lost their usual tank and were looking for another one.

It wasn't a key upgrade for me (but also not a trivial key for my ability), but I went because I liked the dungeon. It went so smooth that I took the then empty spot.

So, yeah, puggers of the world: for every thousand of disaster runs, there's always that good one 😁

Would love to see some dungeon guides for SL that not only goes over boss mechanic but looks at noteworthy trash packs and how affixes might interact with them . Cheers for the great content, only found you recently but i actively keep an eye out for your videos.

Yo, I know this video is old, but thanks to you and a few other people I think I'm finally going to face my fear of screwing up and making people mad and try to get keystone master/raid. Thanks for the guide!

2 years later and these tips were still super useful to me as a new healer! I hit 1800 last night and it’s been a blast. Explosives is rough for me this week

great optimistic video. I really wanted to work into M+ healing BFA. really wanted to, but running with guildies that wanted to go higher than i was yet comfortable, then a series of bad pug experiences, and I collapsed back into my hesitation, then bailed. i realize i need to have much thicker skin and all, but its a challenge. folks can be so harsh, but really, its on me to find ways to suck it up, and work through that.

"Record yourself" is the greatest advice ever
You may also add "Record AND watch everything". Not just the biggest pull where you did sick DPS and because of that want to relive the moment. Even routine and somewhat "unremarkable" parts of a run may offer great many insights for improvement once watched back. When you're doing a key and you're in the moment tunnel vision is real thing. It's astonishing how one may straight up not see a really important thing going on right in front of one's nose. Watching recordings certainly helps to not miss it the next time

Very good video. Very educational. Thank you for taking the time to make this. It sure helped a lot.
As a tank player, myself, having to take the second part of BFA off for business reasons, coming back to the game felt a bit overwhelming.

It's videos and content like this that I like consuming to catch up to speed and also recommend to the people I start playing with to get them up to speed and see who is serious and who is not.

For someone who started WoW not so long ago, your tips are pretty much spot on. I'm gonna recommend your channel to a couple of friends who's planning to start WoW in SL, great job.

The 3rd one took me along time since I first started WoW a long time ago to finally do, and it's one of the biggest difference between lower IO runners and the top 1K. Never blame others for wipes, ever. Always start with thinking with what you could've done differently, even if you think nothing you could've done matters. This single mindset change alone brought me up from my usual 'pleb' ratings to one of the higher spot for Druids.
