Im pretty late here, and I'm not sure how to make a core loop out of a 2d platformer kind of game. You can collect currency while platforming and spend it on powerups or cosmetics, which is fine, but once you earn all the cosmetics, it gets boring. so yeah im not really sure how i will make the core loop.

I making a game where you need to build a fort to protect you from creatures and you can upgrade blocks and weapons with coins and cash what you get by attacking others or devending you there a story connected but you can level up to unlock more blocks weapons etc and after a bunch of levels you may play the end game from the story then after that a new chapter start

Oh I thought you meant like rebirthing not spend on things that’ll make you regret the time you spend on making your pets maximise their upgrades or building greater houses you know when you’re making a game and it’s this sort of infinitely repeating loop it’s legitimately getting repetitive and matter of fact that’s how you’re making your player uninhabitable and not addicted to waste their time on the game.
