I cried watching this video. I felt like for the first time I was seen. Space, noise, scents, people’s emotions, all of that swirl within me. I knew I was HSP but this video made it so much more clear. I knew that I needed to take care of myself differently and that’s why I was looking for videos and came across this one. I am so glad I did. Already subscribed! I am also an empath and working through Complex PTSD. I know that just sitting still for a few moment and looking out of the window or just looking in front of me could be so calming and nurturing. Thanks for the tips in this video and look forward to watching more content. Thank you so much!

Being a HSP is why your videos draw us to you so much.. it took me decades to learn that I needed privacy much more than social contacts.. I'm so much happier.

I have always had a lot of friendships where I was primarily the listener. I can't do it anymore. I started to feel drained and invisible in these relationships. I realized that relationships that are more reciprocal and balanced not only make me feel better, they are the only kind of relationship I am interested in pursuing.

I’m an HSP and an empath. I am also an addiction nurse/counselor and I just quit my job. I became so overwhelmed with what I do and I was completely drained. Finally, at age 54, I have learned to listen to my body and give it what it needs. Slowing way down for the rest of my life.
Just found your channel.

I can't believe I'm the first person commenting. I just want you to know that you and your videos have changed my life for the better. Being in the moment is something I have always struggled with, and your videos have helped me to connect with the world and my life.

I love to walk, especially places where there are not many people...or even no people 😃 then all I can hear are the nature sounds. I love to listen to books on Audible, my favourite thing to do it take my earphones on a walk along the sea front, sit on a bench under the trees, it's pure escapism 🏝 And I love to listen to music or cook. All of these things make me feel energised. People are important too, but occasionally not all of the time, I love interesting conversations but not gossip 😃 🦋

As a HSP, grating myself permission to stay home and recharge has positively changed every aspect of my life. Thank you for your videos!

Yes!! Totally a HSP and empath here. You’re comment about sometimes wanting to relax and just watch movies and that hit home. Ever since Covid that has been me and I used to be an avid book reader. I’m trying to get back to my habit of reading and not scrolling on social media as much. Work in progress!

I spent so much time growing up listening to people say that I was wrong for feeling, being quiet and wanting time to myself, especially as a male.
It’s videos like this that make it easier to accept myself as a highly sensitive person, realising that I’m not alone and that there’s nothing wrong with being myself. Thank you and thanks to everyone adding comments. It’s all incredibly helpful.

Am not just a highly sensitive person or an empath. I also have Down Syndrome, and it's important to me to have time to care for my nervous system as well there are people in my church who help me self regulate my best friend and spiritual mother is a counselor that I have been working with her and at times her husband gives me hugs who help me stay grounded.

Lamps, candles, meditation music on all day, always listening, constantly absorbing and constantly needing to depressurise!!! That's me too!!! I love being home alone with my dog, cooking healthy food and also just breathing in nature. If I'm overwhelmed by people or tasks I take a long walk. I became a reflexologist because I loved to listen to others one on one and to feel their energy and help them recalibrate. That helped me in turn to nurture my own needs. So good to know I'm not alone. Thank you for this.

As a highly sensitive person, i walk 10k steps a day so I can give back to my body and release any stress. I also reorganize my place according to feng shui lol way too many times.

This video really hit home for me. I am a HSP and empath. This year, I have gone on more walks along the river, gone to more therapy sessions and went on more road trips and taken more personal time than any year of my life. I am also in AA and attend meetings regularly. All of that and daily prayer is what helps me navigate life the best that I ever have. I am also self-employed and set my own schedule. I have found that allows me the most flexibility with my time and has lead me to taking more "me" time than any regular job would ever allow. Thank you for sharing your story with us and inviting us to share ours with you and each other. It really makes for a healthier community and a more fulfilled life. God Bless.

This video resonates with me so much. I've always been told that I'm "too sensitive". I feel like I'm just coming into acceptance of that and paying attention to what I need to rest and recharge.

I’m an HSP as well. I feel the last months of my life have been quite rough. Not only did I divorced, I came back to my old home, no real friends or family I can count on. I wish to meet more HSPs in my life. I’m planning on moving soon. I need a radical change ❤

As an empath, my greatest lesson was that I have to set boundaries and I don't have to save everyone. It was difficult.
Self care and self love is my priority now.. could relate to every word u said .. take care HSS(sister) 😂❤

I know that I am a HSP. I am 62 and struggling to find the self-care necessary for me. I have always taken care of others. I'm not so good at taking care of me. This is very significant to the HSP, though. Thank you for your videos and encouragement. I can still learn these practices.
