JAMES SCOTT NICHOLSON, ONTARIO, CANADA 🇨🇦 I THOUGHT I WOULD SAY ON BEHALF OF DAVE, IF YOU ARE CONFUSED ABOUT MODES, THEN YOU NEED THIS COURSE.IT HAS BEEN A VERY ESSENTIAL AND PRACTICAL WAY TO FINALLY FIGURE
OUT THE MODES QUICKLY.I AM 50 AND COULD PLAY 90% OR MORE BY EAR 👂.DURING COVID I STARTED A REGIMENT OF
12 HOURS A DAY TO LEARN THEORY, I JUMPED ALL OVER THE PLACE STARTING AT ARPEGGIOS AND MODES.TAKE IT FROM
ME, SO MANY PEOPLE CLAIM THEY HAVE THE EASIEST WAY TO LEARN MODES. I BETYOU ALL BEEN THERE.DAVE IS THE ONE
MAN TRUE TO THAT STATEMENT.THANKS FROM THE CORNER OF MY HEART 💜 TOP LEFT. I AM A MUCH MORE ROUNDED
GUITARIST, AND YOU GUYS KNOW, YOU DON’T FEEL THAT WAY, UNTIL YOU LEARN THEM.THEN YOU FEEL UNSTOPPABLE.

This was very helpful. I wish I had known these things 40 years ago.

Good video, and I'm glad you mention the connection between chords and scales/rhythm and lead as I find I still have to explain this to people that are not guitar players. A guitar player is a guitar player, not a rhythm player or a lead player only, even if that is the role they play at times.

Oh my!!, last night I had a dream... if one day I wake up and find one guitar in my living room and I never see a guitar in my life and never listened music, so I start to play the strings and let´s see.. Thanks for your amazing videos David.

I have a USA Strat and I love it but I’m thinking about getting a SS for myself for my 55 birthday. Is it worth it to own both? I have two Teles and several Les Pauls so it’s not uncharted territory for me. I also have a PRS C24 ten too that I love. I’m either going to get the SS or and Ibanez PS120 and a Wolfgang. I have two EVH striped series but the Wolfie is a different beast. Ah, tough decisions!

It's a great concept (inner musician) but where I have trouble is improvising. I keep falling back on pentatonic licks, scales, and other "tricks" to get the job done. :(

i think the main thing i wish i'd learnt of the bat was arps and then the scale(s) you can play around them.
