That's one lawsuit I would hate to have to go through.

This is why women’s health should be more important and not declared as something emotional or “just being stressed out”

This is devastating…I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss and please know that because of you no other woman or child life’s will have to be lost at the hands of that doctor even through your grief you fought to save others!!!

I'm sure your wife and unborn baby are proud that you did what was necessary to prevent other people to face the same or any similar kind of medical negligence ❤

This is absolutely unacceptable for any health care professional considering how serious and important our health is and for it to be brushed off by negligent doctors is baffling and horrific

Its reasons like this that make many ppl distrust doctors

See Malpractice insurance should have a one and done thing. If you screw up once you never get coverage again, which means you cant work as a doctor ever again.

My great grandmother wants to sue the hospital. My great grandfather was in there for a few months bc of surgery. He passed in August, the 22nd of last year. What contributed to his death was the hospitals lack of care. He’d sit in his room for hours with a dirty and full catheter, in pain with no people coming in to help him. And worst is they fuxked up his doses, giving him TWICE as much all bc they got him confused with another patient. That went on for about 2 weeks before they finally had the right mind to look. Rest in peace Dad ❤ I want those duckups to finally face the consequences they deserve.

This is why i go to medical appointments with my wife and make sure they don't just do the equivalent of saying "Oh well you are a woman so you're probably just imagining things."

This story is almost the same story of a friend of mine.
She was 7 months along when she could no longer feel movement. She went to her Dr, and he told her that the baby had died but to wait and the baby would self terminate. So she waited, she waited for a whole month. She had gotten so sick that her husband rushed her to the hospital. The ER Dr rushed her to emergency surgery and that's when he found nothing left of the baby. It had Disintegrated in her belly, causing sepsis. She not only lost her baby but she also lost her ability to have anymore children. The Dr had to do a complete Hysterectomy.
This was back in the 1960s. There was no protection for a fetus.

So sorry to hear about your wife and baby's death. I'm glad you sued the ignorant doctor and hospital! I wouldn't take my dog to that hospital. If a woman complains about something being wrong with her and her baby, the doctor should listen.

My older brother died at a few days old due to hyperamonimia from OTC. My parents didnt know that my mom was a carrier and they werent able to determine why he was getting so sick so quickly. After his death they did an autopsy but the hospital mixed up his samples with someone else. I was born but as a carrier i didnt have symptoms. When my younger brother was born and started to show the exact same symptoms they tested his dna against my "older brothers" trying to find a genetic component. They also tested mine and told my parents that me and my younger brother didnt have it. When my younger brother ended up dying 3 days after he was born the figured out it *was* otc and we all got retested. Thats when they discovered the mixed up samples. My parents ended up suing the hospital that mixed up the samples. They didnt get some huge payput or anything. But if that sample was not mixed up i would have bee diagnosed earlier and theu might have been able to extend my younger brothers life. At the time they didnt have dna sequencing or know that a liver transplant can be used to treat the disorder

So heartbreaking. The doctor sounds like a quack.

I hope my mother gets sued out of house and home. It's honestly inevitable considering how awful a doctor she is

If you get a doctor who won't do anything you go to a different doctor before it gets that far and then sue the pryer doctor
