I recently heard this story where a member of the orangutan survival foundation went into the habitat to remove a venomous snake from the nearby river, however one of the orangutans thought the man had fallen in the river and offered a helping hand up, it was quite amazing to see and just goes to show that some animals are more human than they seem.

We just uploaded a video about an adventurous rescue mission, where Orangutan Nenuah – she was forced to work in a wildlife show in Thailand – is brought back to her native home, by helicopter. The moment when she felt the grass of her native forest underneath her feet for the very first time will give you goosebumps.
