Do Glitter Eggs Catch Trout?

For nearly a decade salmon eggs with glitter have found their way onto shelves and counters in sporting good stores, but do glittered eggs catch trout. Of course, we know the answer. And, you do, too. However, as an experiment we armed two anglers with Pautzke's Gold Label salmon eggs and drove to a highly pressured stocked trout stream to see how much the trout preferred them. See how we did in this episode of Pautzke Outdoors.

Great video, I enjoyed it alot. Please do more firebait videos though. You are known for your eggs, but your dough is fantastic and underappreciated.

There is a cool patern I thought of for fall and spring fish, take one egg and thread it on a slightly larger salmon egg hook then take a black or brown trout magnet and make it look like a leech, it works pretty good

Gold and silver label are staples in my tackle box. Bummer though, all of my local stores are only selling the half size jars. For full price, at that. Gotta buy twice as many jars to catch as many fish this year.
