It is indeed a helpful kit. Got one myself for Christmas! Use it almost everyday.

Get just the screw driver kit. Buy a set of random width picks, a much better suction device, tweezer set and spudgers on Ali.

Well that kit went straight into the shopping cart, I'm so tired of the really low end stuff and that magnetic mat plus the bit set cover's grid looks super handy. Glad I subbed, this is just my kind of channel.

I've always heard it pronounced "sprudging" ... but, whatever, I'm not one to care as long as you can glean what somebody is talking about.

Thank you for you review! I’ve been debating on buying this kit for awhile now myself. Looked on Amazon seen a bunch of kits with more bits etc but I always come back to this one. I too have all my tools in the plastic bag like you showed in the video 😂 . Do you know if you get the lifetime warranty if you buy it off Amazon or does it have to be bought through the I fix it site?
Thanks again

unpacking it was 10/10, think the stuff was a bit smaller than i expected though, but i'll probably need it when i need it.

I was going to until I realised it was £21.99 for about 6 non-magnetic bits, a spudger, and a few guitar picks. There's a £30 kit which comes with around 48 bits but doesn't have any other tools.

Why did you skip the blue triangle disc...what are they used for?

The top of the case with the grid is also magnetic

3:22 I'am a state certified electronics technician, and for me, those ESD-Straps are just unusable. You put it on your wrist and these things are just annoying. xD And from my perspective, you have to have very bad luck to kill a device by ESD, it is just very unlikely Espiacally in europe, we have a norm that any electronic device that is sold in the EU have to be tested by a specific protocoll that includes the capability of the device to withstand 2000 volts ESD surge voltage. But great review, greetings from Germany :)

My guess is that the lid of the case is placed on the magnetic pad?

I installed one of their batteries. It was easy but only lasted a few months before dying.

Why should we believe some that doesn't do alot of repairs or is too cheap or too lazy to even paint the room he's using. If you did in fact do more repairs, your own tools would not be in a plastic bag. Case and point, you just told everyone that static straps are they are then why does everyone put them in their kits.
