This is a slam dunk “do not upgrade” year. A lot of your biggest reasons to upgrade wouldn’t even make the video in previous years.

A lot of people in the comment says you shouldn't upgrade to 16 and still using the 15. C'mon! Even if you have the means to buy the 16. Its just 1 generation older. You really shouldn't be upgrading every year. You'll feel the difference if your phone is 3-5yrs old.

I'm upgrading from my 13 Pro Max, now three years old, to a 16 Pro Max. While I like the 13, I usually trade every 2-3 years, while AT&T still gives me good value. It's time, and will order one as soon as ordering opens up.

To those who are questioning why are people criticizing the iPhone 16 series, the problem isn't the newer iPhone's physical design, the problem here is that Apple is releasing new iPhones every year like there's no tomorrow. And when those phones barely have any changes to them, it makes it very redundant to upgrade your phone that you got only last year.

The main camera is not new. It’s the same Sony IMX803 as the 15 pro max. They just added “Fusion” to the name.

Will stick with the 15 PM for now. The marginal hardware improvements ain't worth the aggravation of upgrading. Additionally, it's still unclear which Apple Intelligence features are coming when🤔. I'm sure all of the (AI) dust will settle over the next few months...just in time for the iphone 17 hype to begin.

1 year later and my iPhone 15 Pro Max is still an awesome phone. Holding off this year but will upgrade to the new Series 10 Apple watch (currently have the Series 4 lol.).
