ABOUT ME:
If you haven't subscribed and followed me already, here is some information about me!
I'm a certified holistic nutritionist (through AFPA) and I started my channel to talk about health in a more balanced and realistic way after personally struggling with orthorexia. I used to have many "fear foods" and my self image was skewed on always needing to "eat clean". I was skinny growing up, but then felt "skinny fat" as I put on fat, and weight from struggling with a binge-restrict eating cycle, never strength training (out of fear of getting "bulky"), and always just trying to do only cardio... but in my fitness journey I've learned the power of gaining strength, muscle, and honoring your cravings! Truly everything fits in moderation and unless a medical professional TELLS you that you have intolerance or dietary restrictions, NOTHING is OFF-LIMITS!

I love the comparison of when you were a lighter weight. However, now you look much more toned!! body composition is so interesting and it’s cool to learn about. Thank you for sharing!! so inspiring it reminds me it’s not always about the scale number.

This is such good advice. As someone who struggled with an eating disorder that involved compulsive over-exercising and restriction, I wish I knew these things back then. Where I’m at now, while I am trying to lose weight again (after gaining some), I’m much more in the mindset of this video. Thank you for this 💕

I have been struggling with food since I was 15. I am 24 now. I weigh 47 kg but I was 44 a few months ago and I eat 1000-1300 calories a day even though I work out a lot. I know that it's unhealthy but this is the only thing that has been working. If I eat more, I start gaining weight immediately, even on 1500 calories. I allow myself to eat 1800 or more on the weekend but that's about it. Do you have any advice on that? I used to be 60 kg (165 cm) and have experimented for years with food and working out but haven't found a way to boost my metabolism after the weight loss. Thank you xx

Great video, thank you! I am doing a reverse diet and focusing on strength training combined with long walks instead of HIIT etc. and I am eating ~500 cals more than before even though I am taking 3 rest days :) Feels great to gain strength and be able to have more food freedom! I just noticed a small difference on the scale (~2kgs) but my body begins to look more toned :)
I am interested in how your weight changed between the pictures? Did you loose weight or even gain weight while becoming leaner (muscle mass is heavier than fat). That is the point where I am a bit anxious right now and it is also the reason why I stopped weighing myself to stay motivated through this journey of a reverse diet :)

I’m turning 30 in 2 weeks.
I started to feel more self conscious about my body recently. And wishing I had more energy and motivation. I didn’t even look this video up, I just kinda stumbled across it. And I’m glad I watched this. The way you talk about exercise and diet is very inspirational. Thank you for talking about strength gaining for our mental health. 🫶🏼
