Clerics have some of the best on-demand power in combat in the Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook in 2024. It almost makes up for the nerf to multiclass power from 2014 to 2024.

Other than the broken spells, what do you think your favorite use of the level 10 Divine Intervention will be?

I just finished playing a 2014 Forge Domain Cleric in a campaign. We only reached 12th level but I was never able to make use of Divine Intervention because I never once managed to roll low enough... The new version looks fantastic even though it definitely needs a house rule to keep things reasonably balanced (at least no Hallow).

From the 2024 pbh under Magic Action: "If you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 minute or longer, you must take the Magic action on each turn of that casting, and you must maintain Concentration while you do so. If your Concentration is broken, the spell fails, but you don’t expend a spell slot. See also “Concentration.”"
So if YOU cast the spell like Divine Intervention says you do, you also must take the Magic action each turn for longer casting times.
Good faith interpretation, why would they not list ignoring casting times as part of this feature if it was intended? This is meant to allow you to cast a spell you didnt have prepared without using a spell slot or material component.

Wait why do you assume that divine intervention ignores casting time it says nothing about ignoring casting time
