It works for me, on T460s. Mine is internal battery. Didn’t remove the battery. But I reset as advised. It works! Thanks a milli!!!

today i had this problem too. fixed just by removing the battery and waiting 2/3 minutes. the reset switch solution is a very welcome extra... thanks!
