Somehow, Palpatins returned, AGAIN. There is a breaking leak out in the Star Wars news section claiming that the story will revolve around Rey "Skywalker" Palpatine and how she has to justify the recreation of a new Jedi Order. How will she do that, by using good old grandfather Emperor Sheev Palpatine, again. Star Wars and its storytellers have no idea how to create something that the fandom will get behind and this is definitely more evidence.

Details are still under wraps for the upcoming Star Wars film starring Daisy Ridley and directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. However, reports suggest it will be titled "Star Wars: Episode X: A New Beginning" and take place after the events of the Skywalker saga. Ridley will likely reprise her role as Rey Skywalker, now a Jedi Master tasked with rebuilding the Jedi Order. Plot specifics remain unknown, but the title hints at a fresh start for the galaxy and the Jedi, potentially exploring the challenges and triumphs Rey faces in this new era. The one (and only) good thing about a new Rey movie is that we will all know not to bother to go see it. There will be no doubt, no irritating question buzzing in the mind "what if it is good, i ought to go see it". None of that. I for one will know to pass on it no matter what the media may dish out to try and get me to spend money on it.

I became a fan of Adam Driver as an actor before Ep VII, by watching other work he'd done prior, after learning he'd be prominent in the sequels. Since Leia was his (Ben's) mother, *he* was and is the Skywalker of this generation by blood. Those episodes should have been *his* story, starting dark and going light (inverse Prequel Anakin). I do miss him and wish he could and would return someday. Having said that....

Taking what is supposed to be good (Jedi) and calling/making them "evil" is just.... well it's beyond sad.

Jedi are inspired by things like ancient samurai warriors, Shaolin monks, old West marshals and the like. Peacekeepers, negotiators and diplomats who *can* fight if they need to but are pacifists.
