Pretty basic stuff, but sometimes we forget it keep it simple stupid. Listen to the customer, understand their problem like a friend would, solve their problem with confidence.

He who speaks the least earns the most, so true. At my last job we couldn't figure it out because the best salesman barely spoke a word. Like seriously you could never hear him say anything. Even speaking to us, he was very quiet. But he was kind of a sneaky guy but he would always smile and laugh at whatever the customer said.

Not only is this great for making more sales, it's also great for the prospect. Chances are if we're listening & asking good question then we'll actually be able to help them more! Too often in my industry I see sales people pushing products instead of pushing the right solutions for each client. Great video!

The key to having empathy is if you are generally interested in people. Customers will know if you are bluffing the conversation. You can have all the confidence in the world but won’t close if you aren’t generally interested
