Hi Alex, I’ve never left a comment out of the zillion videos I’ve watched. But this time I absolutely felt I had to. After watching and implementing your instruction on this video my husband and I hit the golf course yesterday as we also did just the day before that my husband was blown away and sort of shocked (and so was I) with my improvement within just 1 day! It was astronomical in his words! All due to just this video! I’ve been watching YOUTUBE golf videos for a year until I found you. I’m now in process of watching ALL your videos!!
You have a special and rare gift of teaching! So Thank You!!

Just got myself some used irons and a wedge to have some fun cross golfing and wanted some kind of YT tutorial. Your videos are fantastic!!! Great work.

Step 2 of the downswing where you have your hands spaced apart. I could never get the hang of letting the club just drop though. Yesterday using the spaced grip, a person at my driving range told me to just get the feeling of using the right hand throwing a softball underhand on the downswing and through towards the target. Wow, that was a revelation and biggest thing is that it is a very easy repeatable drill as well. I owe that person big time and thank you for your drill.

Many thanks Alex. One of the best lessons in golf. I watched it today. I was so impressed, that I took my clubs and went to the range to apply your instructions. Got excellent results with all my clubs.

OMG, been struggling with a pull hook for over 6 months. Core Back, Arms Down, Core through. Went right to my Sky Trak and was no more than 6 yards offline with solid contact with 3 different irons. Lost a few yards, but well worth it for the accuracy.

simple, super effective, when you lose your swing you come back to the basics and the swing becomes almost easy again, better ball contact, better hit balls, more penetrating, in short fantastic thank you and bravo for this channel and its simple courses to work on at home

Three simple steps that I wasn't doing. Since watching this video Alex, I'm constantly striking the ball with more confidence. Keep up the great work. 👍

Thanks a lot Alex, for the simplicity mastering the key elements of the golf swing. It helped me lot doing the proper synchronization and given the time to do every step. Drills are effective for muscle memory and subconscious. By repeating those, a good swing will be developed. I started playing golf this year in February. My swing was mainly arms and going left. Then I enhanced my torso rotation and the ball moved to the right. When I started to let the arms fall, the ball was straight. Speed was gained by let the club going through. Excellent job. Thanks again.

This is similar to what we taught in the First Tee Program - shoulders, hips, bellybutton, toe tap. Shoulders take the club back. Hips pull the club down and through. Point the belly button at the target. Hold your finish balanced on your lead foot and tap your trail toe.
I was a plus handicap and still hit my best shots demoing this for the kids. Really works.

Hi Alex, I followed your advice and could tell right away this is going to improve my putting. The same length of follow thru feels great, now the only variable is the length of backstroke to control distance. At 70 years of age, you can teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks.

A tutorial of how the hips move particularly in the downswing would help many golfers. You could use egg shaped illustrations of the hips. A golf instructor (John Schlee) who was instructed by Hogan, said that the hips move level left towards the target. I imagined that he meant the hips started parallel to the target line before turning to face the target. This late turning of my hips caused me to hit down on the ball. Sometimes pull hooking or pushing the drive. I couldn’t imagine hitting up on my drives. I couldn’t manage to fade the drive.

Nick Faldo also advocates using the core to turn back and through, ie as the engine of the swing. Works for me. The difference is that I paid to get Faldo’s instruction while it’s offered here for free.
