I think that as long as you're still clean and taking care of your health, everything else is a choice. As a woman, I also get how draining removing body hair is. I admit I still do it, but I stopped doing it by shaving and it was the best thing I ever did for my skin.

Friends and loved ones should be the most impowering relationship you have 2nd only to the relationship you have with your God.
