You can zoom so much that you get a 3rd person mode

i remember seeing pre alpha footage of this game years ago. instantly wishlisted and will be buying in a week. just got a new gpu too cannot WAIT to play this at ultra everything. will be beautiful.

If you enter cinematic mode (CTRL+C), you can zoom out to the clouds without opening the region map

I absolutely love this game, needs some work but for an early access it's awesome. My favorite part is being able to zoom in and out akin to something like Sins of a Solar Empire.

Slavic Magic, from day 1, worked really hard to make the game historically authentic, and the world feel real, and alive, and lived in. The clothes, architecture, environment, equipment, were all really well-researched and specifically chosen.
I spoke to him a number of times early in development, asking about exact dates of equipment that would be in the game, and it was clear immediately that not only is he a genius, he is incredibly dedicated to making the game feel REAL.

Upper right corner on the character icon click the eye icon and you will be a 3rd person character roaming in the world

It just needs a first person fighting mode like bannerlords. Either way, excited to try it out in a few days

Click on icon near portret (upper right) and you can walk in third person - tho it is only cosmetic, you can not do anything but walking.
