DEWALT 20v XR vs MILWAUKEE 18v FUEL impact driver showdown! We will do a comparison between the tools and race them against each other to see which one belongs in the homeowner, handyman, or tradesman's tool-bag! We screw in an 8 inch deck screw for a speed test and an 6" x 1/2" lag bolt for a power/endurance test!

I don’t care about driving a screw a second faster, how long the battery last is my thing.

I’m a HVAC installer, everyone I work with uses Milwaukee, I originally purchased Dewalt because people would get their tools mixed up and batteries missing all the time. Either way they both are great. Im literally the only one who uses dewalt and my stuff has seemed to last longer than several others who I work with. I also take care of my tools though.

I was a Milwaukee man until they switched away from the V18 battery system and left me with thousands of dollars of tools I could not get Milwaukee batteries for. Rather than throw good money after bad buying Milwaukee’s M18 system I switched to Dewalt. I switched to Dewalt because when they switched to their 20V Max system they also released an adaptor so people could use the new batteries with their old 18v tools. Loyalty goes two ways.

I like how you compared the old Milwaukee 2753 (not the new 2853 or newest 2953) vs the current but old Dewalt 887 because that's more fair because that tech came from the same time period. They still rock! I'm still rocking my 2753 and going strong.
Great job and entertaining!

I like the friendly competition between yall. It’s very midwestern.

I have ketchup and mustard in my toolbox. They both make awesome tools. My drill, driver and saws are DeWalt 20v and my impact wrench and ratchets are Milwaukee M12

I was all Milwaukee until I realized how junk the batteries are. My pops has had the same dewalt batteries for 6 years (I work for em) and I went all Milwaukee and I’ve had issues with 2 batteries after less than 2 years..

We have both at work; we had a Milwaukee drill kick the bucket, a Milwaukee pump kill over and a Milwaukee battery pack give up the ghost...no problems with the Dewalt fam yet.

Man as a young carpenter i can say you this, it feels like i am playing destiny in real life. Solving problems with tools looking like i am gonna save earth from aliens. With my 3d printer i printed logos to add on my tools. I also printed some decepticon logos just because i can. Fucking love my job and some tools definitely are my little friends😂 the milwakee tacker was made to kill small monsters, the ones like in halo.

They are both excellent brands, as long as you have one you are serious.

I use Dewalt tools because I think they look nicer and more modern and I like the classic constructions colors, but all my drillbits are milwaukee. Milwaukee I think is a little more powerful but Dewalt is sleeker l and more modern and flexible

Honestly for me having the classic construction colors is a big reason..

I bought DeWalt. NICE. I was team black and decker and I'm kind of a brand loyalist, tend to go with the Stanley family.

Newcomer here and I just have some really cheap tools. And are wondering is best for value, since Milwaukee and DeWalt are both expensive here in Norway.

The milwaukee power setting is a pain in the ass if u have thick gloves on tho.

If you are driving screws so much that the 1/2 second makes a difference you should probably get the tool for that job. Like a Sheetrock drill.
