Thank you my guy. Randomly had audio issues when I have it connected to my monitor with speakers or my tv. The second solution worked.

Didn't work, and my device (HDMI) isn't showing up in the list to right click and screw around with, it appears that my graphics card isn't supporting sending audio over HDMI - which would be brain-dead stupid...

Hello everyone.

I've been having the same problem as you for 2 months and trying to solve it. I plug in hdmi, the picture goes to the TV, there is no sound... I choose the sound output HDMI in the TV settings, it doesn't accept it.
Even though I had all the updates and the "Digital Jack (HDMI)" tab in the sound settings, I was getting the unplugged error.
I've searched and scanned in many places, I've uninstalled and installed sound drivers many times and couldn't find the answer. All forums and posts were writing software error.

But I read a post on one of the forums and applied and the problem was solved.

My solution on my Casper laptop was:
1) Turn off your computer. Connect to your bios screen while booting.
(My laptop also opens with F2. Find the key on your PC.)
2) Go to Boot settings and change the "Launch CSM" setting from "Enabled" to "Disabled" there. Then do "Save and Reset".

Your computer will reboot. Then plug in your HDMI cable and click on the bottom right audio phrase. It will see your TV.

I hope this is the solution for your computer as well.
Because I tried so hard until I found this...

I am having a computer . I set up cpu with monitor(t.v) . The sound used to come without any speaker because of t.v. but from 1 month the sound stopped.

i used to have that, but once i changed to hdmi 1 arc, i dont have that option at 0:37 where you can select the output device as the speaker. Help me please.
