Fake anything isn't worth it. I got in a Fake Taxi once and I could hardly walk for a week. Lesson learned the hard way!

One suggestion, maybe blind performance test? The brain is powerful and going in knowing it’s a fake can alter results. You’d have to maybe hide the features with tape or something

Rick a video idea. Cut both in half to see the real difference. See what the fake is made of, see if it is carbon. A good band saw should go through them. There is a youtube channel where they just cut shoes in half, and it really interesting.

I don't know why anyone would buy a fake club? It's still £150 and clearly won't have the same performance. Just buy an old driver that's basically the same as the new drivers any way?

You put out some great and highly credible videos! I've seen some other folks do "fake" reviews, and I always have the same feeling - that I hate to give ANY kind of credibility to fake "copy" products. They are all made by thieves who make a living by deceiving golfers into buying their fraudulent products. I wish where ever you purchased this fake driver that they're taking steps to find and prosecute the criminals (if possible).

Rick, you say the heads feel heavy. Please take them off the shafts and weigh them both on a set of digital kitchen scales. That will confirm all.

Great video! I agree with you about personal safety concerns, especially when traveling, getting robbed on vacation is painful enough, but getting robbed with an authentic bag is even worse. To me, it makes sense to travel with a fake kislux bag and not carry any valuables that you would miss. Also, if your bag gets damaged by dust, stains, accidents, whatever it is, it doesn't matter even if it's fake.

You stated the lofted looked too much form the off so why didn’t you crank it down and use the same shaft? It was always going to spin more if you could see the loft was more

It would be interesting to try the OEM shaft in the fake and vice versa to see if it’s the shaft or the head or both.

I actually bought the TM Sim2 Max based on your video "The club Taylor Made doesn't want you to buy." I'm thoroughly pleased at the sound, performance, etc. Never have hit a Qi10 but my price of $278 was well worth it. Keep the great videos coming!

This proves that it really isn't that hard to make a decent driver and that we are genuinelly being ripped off by the big brands!

Got a supposedly authentic Ping G430 driver off a reputable eBay seller with good feedback. Was supposedly a “JCB” version. Turned out to be fake and 2 weeks after I got it the sellers feedback was slammed with complaints of fake Ping drivers. The head was so heavy, they replaced the 25 gram back weight with a 6 gram plastic replica. Good thing is the head stayed together and the distance loss was about 10-15 yards after I replaced the fake shaft, which felt like rebar. Now it’s my caddies new driver.
