Just noticed that clubhouse golf have now put the F9S back on their website but have amended the wording calling it the 2020 version and listing the differences to the original....Great work

Simon, when you hear the click, it's actually the wrench clicking, not the club, it's designed to slip when it reaches the correct torque so you don't overtighten.
Apologies if you knew this already, but thought your viewers might not.

Crazy how close they get the fakes to look genuine. Hats off to you for giving the lad his money back as well, what a nice thing to do

Taylormade do this tensei model TM50 exclusive for taylormade for SIM that being sold around Asia (for both driver and fairway woods), probably where the counterfeit manufacture get their sample model from.

I had bought a counterfeit G410 Fairway before, looks almost perfect copy except for the forged face lettering that isn't transparent until I tried to remove the head from the shaft, the screw came off like it's threaded on the head not the connector, then the head stays glued to the shaft.

Great Video Simon - as a member of the whatsapp group it's fun seeing the conversations transition into a video!

Fantastic video! I bought about 5 months ago a set of p7mcs 3! Yes 3 to pw. I was so excited so happy my dream clubs. 500 quid down the drain and I didn't realise for 3 weeks my friend pointed out I was playing bad am I sure they were real? I went from a 10 to a 13 handicap in a few weeks.
I could have tried to resell them but that's just wrong.
It is heartbreaking, I cant afford new clubs and now I can't afford anything. I was absolutely devastated.

I did everything wrong but we have to live and learn.

Thank you for a great video Simon I love the channel

Love the video, I try and do the same thing when looking online. The only thing that I will say is that I change my TM grips right away, I don't like the z cord

I got the one with the same shaft( tensei tm50) but the head looks genuine enough, when I search on the web seems like there’re some new released shaft equipped with SIM 2, which confused me a lot😢

When I was in China in Xiamen about 10 years ago the going rate for "new" fake or copied set of golf clubs ranges from US$ 150-250 depending on the finish the set would include from Driver, 3W-5W set of irons from 3i-SW and a putter. Along with the set they will throw in a cart bag and a locker bag. I bought a set of Ping Rapture V1 for US$150. Specially if you go to their night market you will find a lot of it being peddle

Years ago a friend of a friend brought a fake r7 superquad it wasn't till I changed the weights at the back that it snapped when torque wrench it up that I noticed it was fake as I had an original one and side by side the difference was unreal the colour was a different shade the club felt in balanced IE shaft was heavier thanks the head unfortunately he didn t get his money back but lessoned learnt

Great advice Simon! I've bought used clubs for the last 25 years for my own use. I've always stuck with lesser know brands for used value. I've tended to stick with Adams but it's harder to find this stuff now in good condition. I've never seen a fake Wilson golf club, or a fake Cleveland driver or iron set. You can still buy some great big name brands without running the counterfeit risk!
