I am fortunate to have 5 barn cats on duty at all times. But, I could easily put a set up like that out if need be. Excellent! Those traps are pretty cheap if bought new. We always rusted ours in salt water to hide them better when used. Wild things are afraid of shiny metal I am told.

You can keep chewing rodents discouraged by driving roofing n ails around their entrance holes.
