I did this in my old apartment. Except none survived in the oil. They drowned. I guess I've put too much. I used olive oil cuz that's all I had home and peanut butter. Anyone saying they're cute has never had an infestation. I used to find them cute until they started destroying the walls in my kitchen and cabinets to get in.
