Love the way you apply core engineering principles to your everyday life, its something I really took home and it inadvertently proves your point about an engineering degree being a great investment. Even down to your thumbnails and videos being efficient and minimalist. Also, nice audio upgrade!

This is the same exact boat as me. I was a band kid, loved making music and anything of that nature, and wanted a career out of it when I was younger. Now I'm in college as a sophomore in EE. Can totally relate when you said something grounded in reality but true to oneself

I'm an Electrical Engineering freshman in Italy and your channel is a literal goldmine! You were the one who convinced me to pick electrical engineering a few months ago and since then I can't stop watching your videos time and time again. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Ali!

I really appreciate this video, thank you. I definitely understand the "what's next" perception once meeting a goal. This is my freshman year of undergrad, and I started in Physics, but I realized that while I enjoy physics, I enjoy a lot of electrical and computer engineering topics, so this semester [practically over now] I transferred into ECE. I will probably get a physics minor because I'm only 2 courses away, but more importantly the ECE course I took this semester was by far my favorite course so far. It was a Digital Circuits/Logic/Systems [name differs by each uni] which is a beginners CE course, although I know I gravitate more towards subfields of EE.
I know I want a Masters degree, but am actively considering PhD so long as I have a specialization. But finding that focus area seems so hard to me. Like I said, early in my UG, so I haven't gotten much exposure to many topics, but I've done a very superficial dive into many subfields. I love the idea of focusing on RF, RF IC, Telecommunications, IC, Circuits, Microelectronics, VLSI, Photonics, there's probably more I'm blanking on, etc. While I don't have the coursework or intern or research experience, they all sound exciting. How did you know what focus area was the one?

Thanks alot man! This really resonates with me, I turned 18 recently, and I've decided to study 3 courses over the next 2 years to go to uni them being: Further maths, Physics, and A Level Math. I'm really on the fence and worried about messing up my trajectory on life and I want to make the right decision, especially since I've never worked before, but that ending segment where everyone is still learning and its ok to change, really boosts my confidence to give it my all. Its like you said, better to try and fail, than to look back when your old and be disappointed

I’m starting college at UT Arlington this fall and majoring in electrical engineering. your videos are extremely helpful and couldn’t thank you enough for your effort and sharing your knowledge. the plan is to get into the automotive electric industry. i’ve always had a passion for cars and electricity is the future so that’s the path i’m planning to go by.

Say doc I was into writing plays, stories, poetry making scores, beats instrumentals I was deep into the arts which is now my hobby especially music. But now I am going to school for computer and electronic egineering. I didnt care about the money either.I cared about how i can take what i learned and create something useful. I definitely see where you are coming from.

I love this video! I feel that you think a lot similarly to the way I do in certain aspects which is great. Im about to head to college - planning on energy engineering - but I also had a very creative past as you did. I play lots of music and do photography and love to ski, but sometimes reality can be harsh with what is truly sustainable. Engineering has always been a big interest to me even though I may not have been the best high school student at times. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks for this video, really helped to make me excited in a way for my future!

I can relate so much, it took me years before I got dedicated and very focused on goals and academics. I like to try a lot of different things

It’s awesome that your engineering career still allowed you to live your dream and create media. Thank you for helping us future generation engineers figure it out based on your experiences. I can’t wait to be in college and enjoy my life experiences.

Nice video, alot more clear. Would've never guessed you were into filming and writing. I guess shows how multifaceted we can be.

You finna be the youtuber face for the subject bro great vids I am doing triple e next year simply because in my uni they are practically the same and i can drop one each year which gives me some freedom like what you had you should make a video on electronic engineering if you know differences between the two

5:27 can really relate to this, I need a cool looking image in front of my eyes or visualize it in order to be able to be curious about it.
