Good overview. Have been working as an EE for over 20 years, I can honestly say there has never been a time when I've regretted my choice of majors. I've worked in Controls as well as Digital for most of my career, but recently I've begun to work in Power related applications. It is an interesting time to be an EE. To all the students out there, I know, undergrad schooling is not easy, but the knowledge you gain will serve you all of your life.

I'm a 6yrs RF Enginner with EE background. My words to all EE students is choose the career path that you most interested, not the highest paid rate you searched in internet. The money will eventually found you when you are skillful and passionate with something regardless of which fields. But this is not going to happen if you don't even enjoy doing it.

Being a senior in college and a computer engineer at my school, I really wish I had seen this video earlier - before I chose my major in college. I really had no idea what I was getting myself into, but this video pretty much sums it all up. Great video! Truly very informative and well made! I want to show this to all of the people who are considering EE as a major because they deserve to know what they're getting themselves into.

I didn’t have a clue what I was getting into I switch from CS to Computer E to EE all my first semester now I’m halfway done and will be a junior in the fall. Im not crazy about what I’m learning but I’m too far in to switch. Moral of the story... learn what you want to do before you put the time in

Controls deserved more attention, it's an amazing area. Perhaps the most difficult in EE. It mix C++ with the control theory knowledge and that serve to project industrial automatization, robots, satellites, everything that need stabilization and accuracy.

But great video!

I like the videos you are making and I am interested in learning more about controls and the possible career opportunities in this field.

My mother's brother was an eletrical engineer for many years he's since retired. I took a one year eletrical course in it and fell in love with it especially motor control.

Thank you for this video, it was brief and clear. I wish everyone who wants to be an EEE, to watch this video, a lot of my friends and colleagues left this major, or were troubled with it because they had scholarships, because it does not fit everyone. It's important to know about your major before choosing to go with it.

Great video and thank you for the insight. I've been thinking about doing EE, but wasn't sure what it entailed. Thanks
