Yep makes sense. When I heard you mention this in part 1 of this topic, I figured ketone concentrations regulate lyposis to ensure there is not an excess of ketones present in the body. The risk of acidifying the blood makes sense that the body has this check and balance in place. Our bodies are truly amazing!!

Unless you're diabetic (usually type 1) and your body doesn't produce insulin you're not going to get into ketoacidosis. Diabetic ketoacidosis requires high blood glucose AND high ketones. Also, while on a ketogenic diet or fasting your body uses those ketones for energy, keeping the levels too low to get into ketoacidosis. So therefore, get you some beta-Hydroxybutyrate!

Green veggies with water raise your pH to alkaline so you can burn fatty acids.

Is there anyway to increase blood pH to sustain ketogenesis?

Are the fatty acids directly used by muscles or other cells for energy? The church of keto says that ketones are everything.
