I just lost my dog, ripped my heart out. I cried harder than I have in 50 years. She left a big gaping hole in my heart. There's nothing like a good dog in a mans life. I'll miss her until I'm dead.

Absolutely God put the breath in life in animals just as us which 1000% proves they have souls. God is Love and one thing for sure especially with dogs is the unconditional love and loyalty is beyond reproach. I know I will see my baby girl in Heaven.

I’ve got a friend of mine who died for a minute and when he died he was in the place where his dog was a few feet in front of him and he kept calling to her when he seen her. When he came back it changed him.. So yes they are in the after life and will be there to be waiting for us

Have had several dogs over the last 59 years. Yes they go to heaven. Maybe cats too. But dogs love unconditionally. They will die to protect you. They have more soul than some humans.

Dr. James Dobson answered this the best. God promises eternal joy in Heaven. HE wants us to be happy. If loving your pet/pets gave you comfort and delight here on earth, Our Lord will not deny us that enjoyment in Heaven. I know I will be greeted by my many beloved pets upon my arrival.

I have to put my dog down and i cant stop crying thinking about it. He's going on 18 years with our family but he keeps losing weight although he eats, he has more frequent accidents and just plops for no reason. Hes pit and lab the best bud ever!! Im so happy i found this because i have so many questions. I just want him to know im not giving up i love him so much! He'll be part of me forever and i hope to see him again.😢

I think and hope you are right Andrew. I have had dogs that I loved more some people. Their unwavering love has seen me through some very sad times.

Believe this wholeheartedly. In my terrible grief at the death of my pet I was comforted in the knowledge of the fact love does not die. It ifs a true force which connects you for all time. The Bible states the breath of God is in all living and returns to God when death occurs. We will meet our beloved pets in heaven.

My dog let me know in a dream that she was in Heaven & something about Japan. Weeks later the Japanese Princess trees bloomed profusely. They were labeled chinese princess trees when we got them. We buried her little chihuahua body under those trees. They bloomed more than they had in over 20 years. There’s no way her tiny body fertilized those 15-20 foot trees that much. My dog is in Heaven.

I have had many, many dogs and horses.
One particular dog had her own kind of special. (They were all special and I love them all) .
The day she died tragically, I lost it for almost three years, crying every day.
Finally I had a dream -very real-
where she said a cat I had then “would be with me soon”. Meaning with her.
A month later he disappeared in a terrible storm.
Then I remembered the dream!
She, Cinnamon, was somewhere and she knew the future!
Ive been a believer in spirit and life after death ever since.
Love is forever!!! And there’s a place for us!

I’ve had a few dogs in my life. Only one of them was ever actually my dog and he’s the best boy. I live him and he’s a big part of my family. My son is growing up with him. My wife adores him and he’s my buddy. I also have a cat named big red. He’s my best friend. I’ve had him 12-13 years now and my heart is going to absolutely break when his time comes. When I die and get to heaven I’d greatly appreciate getting to see them. I can imagine my mom and older brother taking care of them up there for me til my time. That also makes me happy.
