I've had dogs most of my life and I can generally handle every tip but that very last one. Coming home to my pets is the best part of my day! I actually really love getting jumped all over and yipped at. Makes me feel welcomed home.

Luckily, I've never had any issues with separation anxiety that persisted past puppy hood, which was easily solved by exercise and crate training. In adolescence/adulthood, they've always been relaxed, so I toss the crate back into storage.

I got my sisters dog and he has never been alone. He freaks totally out and is ofc also a pomeranian.. it breaks my heart when i leave him in that state, he barks so much it looks like he is crying. I feel so bad

My 10 week old puppy loses his mind when I come back (crated for an hour max). He's calm, but once he's free he acts like I've been gone a year, crying, licking me, wanting attention. I've always given in. Trying to reassure him he's ok. I'll have to try the cold method. I already do it when I leave.

My dog separation anxiety is really bad.. 😢 but I think it gets worst once I get home.. he jumps non stop, panting, wiggles and almost pee. He is 1 yr old but I just adopted him from a older lady 😢😢
