Painting the calipers for your customer and cleaning up the hub and using anti seize to keep the rotor from rusting onto the hub is top notch. I don't know many techs that would take time to do that unless asked. I do all that on my own vehicles too, great attention to detail, and totally necessary if you live where they salt the roads.

Hey man, thank you for all the posts you throw up, especially the procedural stuff like this. Love to see the little extras you do like hot tanking and wire wheeling. Upping my home amateur mechanic game, much appreciated. You ever make it up boston way, beers are on me.

I’m glad you approve of the Brembo UV coated rotors. These are what I put on my 2019 VW Jetta GLI front + rear, after the soft stock (Zimmerman I believe) front rotors were warped at just 27k ish miles... pads were also past the center groove almost no material on a couple of them. So far with 3k or so miles the brembo rotors look great and perform amazing with centric posi quiet pads! Enjoy the content and good luck with the weight loss journey!

Brembo does make a good product, that is all i use on Cadillac's and actually comes stock on some models as an option package . For everyday brake jobs although i am 100% sold on Napa coated rotors and the Napa premium ceramic pads whenever available . Ever since Napa started selling their Premium Coated i have only had one rotor go bad causing a pulsation .
Very through job Rich, not sure if you ever used Anti-seize aerosol . For the past year after cleaning the hub i have been using Loctite LB 8151 Silver Grade Anti-Seize in an aerosol can . Kind of a time saver with great coverage and good up to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit ... Have a Great Day Rich ... Thanks

My old school auto parts store suggested those Brembo rotors as an aftermarket to FOMOCO. They were less money and a higher quality part without question. Installed them on the front of a Lincoln LS and the pedal is perfect ! Love them Brembo brands. BTW, great brake job, cleaning up the pad bracket and the anti seize etc.and likely the green or purple silicone grease for the keepers and pins.

Wow, dude just got super car brakes on his F150. To bad everything around it was rusting away. If he hits the brakes to hard that thing might break in half! So glad I don’t live in the rust belt. All we have to worry about here is a tornado picking our cars up and relocating it to Texas or Kansas.

Man those rotors do look awesome, beautiful.

Those are good pads and rotors for sure. We use the Napa premium, since we’re a Napa Gold service center…very similar actually. Almost thought that’s what they were until I read the thumbnail.

Brembo is one of the best brake parts manufacturers hands down. Pretty much all high-end sports cars come with Brembos from the factory.

And nice of you to paint the calipers and caliper brackets. These will look really nice on rims that are more "open".

My 2013 F150 reaching 83000 miles on original pads & rotors. (I do tow with this truck) I am so great full you uploaded this video. My dealership is also out of the OEM rotors. And was thinking what can replace them besides Oem. 😂

They look really nice! I just installed a set of powerstop coated solid rotors and bendix brake pads on my truck, so far very pleased with the results!

Great vid and I learned something. I just did a pads replacement on the rears of my wife’s car and I used the C-clamp and old pad to compress the piston. I’ll try it your way next time. Watching you on the YT is a great to spend my lunch break!

Nice rotors for sure. I really like the milled Finnish on the surface.

You should also give Powerstops a try. I just put rotors & pads all arounds on wife's SUV and they look and work great. They have a really nice zinc coating, plus they're slotted & drilled.

Don’t know about the rotors from Brembo, but I did put Brembo brake pads on my wife’s car. They were very good per noise and braking, but wow, were they ever dusty. Coated the rims, and had to clean them continually. Because of this I made sure to inspect them every year and they did wear much faster than the factory ones.

Watching Rich signal aliens through disc rotor tapping. . . That was fun.

Those rotors sound like high-quality steel.
OBTW - My Scat Pack came with 6 piston Bembro's up front and 4 piston in the rear.
