How to get UPS & FedEx to Deliver to a PO Box!

UPS and Federal Express say they can't deliver to a Post Office Box. But just because they say they "can't", doesn't mean they WON'T! You just have to know how to address the package correctly...

I did not know this but kept hearing that other carriers won’t deliver to po boxes. This makes perfect sense why people think that. I live in a big city. Thank you for the tip! This will bring more peace of mind my mail is safe when I travel.

Works like a charm. We live in Sticksville Montana. No rural mail delivery. POB only. Drive 20 minutes to the small town PO to pick up mail. UPS can’t find our address. This is our workaround.

They don't know where the boxes are because per their own rules each, the parcel companies do not communicate with each other

My town is small so no actual street address. I put unit 571 instead of PO box 😂. I tried something cheap on eBay will see if it works

Can you do the same with Amazon? In your shipping address place the post office physical address with the # and number of the PO Box?

So how do we fill out the delivery online it will ask for zip and address name

My post office person told me don't put the word Unit in the address line, but when filling in my post office's street address for most online orders my address automatically "populates" to a Unit number (for example it will show this: 100 Main Street, Unit 999) and I can't take off the word Unit no matter what I do. Does anyone else have this issue?

each post office has its own specific zip code...applicable to only that post office building.

My post office just threw a fit cause I was using the same method to order some things I wanted. They tried to tell me I had it as a legal address and I don't I just have my mail forwarding because people like to steal things

Did not work. UPS sent to my PO Box. USPS signed to receive package. Package still missing over 2 weeks later.

Not so. FedX refused to deliver a motorcycle part to my USPS P.O. Box even though it was addressed to my name with post office street address and "unit" number (for my box). Will likely cost me additional shipping fee from an Ebay seller (and my wife's wrath when I have it delivered to my house!).
I think the truth is it depends on the particular FedX or UPS driver who may not want to wait or stand in line.
