Mesh to Metahuman is an Indie Dev GAME CHANGER! You can now create a fully rigged digital double in minutes! I spent a few minutes and got better results creating a digital double than I was doing using Maya, zBrush and more in MONTHS of work.

I so felt your pain as it is really a long process to make a good quality digital double and it takes years of study to do this from scratch. Sculpting, retopo, texturing, facial rigging or blendshape sculpting. Now.... few clicks. Lives have been saved. :)

yeah, thanks for the video. this is awesome new feature. How many shots of the head do you need to get a good mesh using photogrammetry? can you show us the mesh that you derived from the photos? : ) thanks

The things that Epic Games are doing for game developers is insane. And all for free too? They literally bought Quixel, which used to be a very expensive paid library, and made it free. Then they bring out a game changing edition to the unreal engine - for free. And now you can straight up just release a MetaHuman addition to create ultra realistic humans from scan data... also for free? These guys are insane.

And suprisingly its free.I wouldve atleast make it so its atleast 1$ to give a nod to devs bcs they porbabaly spent GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME, HEAIR PULLING, NERVES AND COMPANY SPENT GOOD MONEY ON THIS just to get it done.
I wouldnt be even mad if they made it 1$-10$ paid addon cbs DEVS DEFFINETLYD ESERVED ATLEAST MINIMUM.
