I've always been a nice, helpful, person but now as a parent I'm very aware of being supportive of younger colleagues. God, it's hard enough to be independent without the b.s. of other peoople.

Shes so sweet and beautiful! The world is tough my dear. Im also the youngest in my office and they do put me down sometimes. Everyone is 38, 40 and 50's I just turned 31 and they dont respect my boundaries girl. Dont worry keep pushing forward and protect yourself from negative people ❤❤

I went through the same thing many times until I learned to stand up for myself.The bit about eating your lunch was a gradual progression of disrespect.

They didn't forget what they did to you.They were jealous and intimidated of you.Anyways, boundaries are so necessary like you said.

I am 49 and I have been bullied by a 60 year old manager for the last several years. He has a personality called OCPD. Relentlessly controlling and entitled. Gets very critical about every tiny thing. I love my actual career and I will keep trying to find a better path to get away from him. He will work around the clock, but often has too because he overcomplicates things by NOT planning. He just jumps into action without thinking or asking any questions. He will make lists of due dates and all this stuff, but then the reason behind the work is left blank. It's really difficult.
