He didn’t hate it, and later in that same comic series Luke describes his fathers saber to be the most comfortable weapon he’s ever own until he gets his own saber that he built, Luke even learns how saber crystals are alive and Luke recalls how Anakins saber would move by itself to protect Luke. After he came to that revelation he actually grew to love the fact that the saber cared for him and Luke let go of his feelings on it. Also Luke is literally a character who hate is absent from. Please use a another word that isn’t an absolute like HATE is

A story I had yet to learn. This is the first time I'm really hearing about Luke's doubts about his father. All I hear about online is how Luke loved his father and still believed in the good in him while his sister felt the opposite and didn't want to see the good after all the evil things her father did. It's nice that Luke was able to struggle with this too. I was under the impression he always thought Vader was Savable. This youtube short shows me that he struggled with that as well.

One can’t help but understand and respect Luke for this choice. That said, he reflected the saber after learning his father had become the dark lord.

Could you imagine what he would’ve done had he found the saber, after learning of all the horrors Vader did in his initiation?

In the comics, Luke also stated that he never really felt a connection to his father's lightsaber and that it never belonged to him. His next steps in his journey became about obtaining a crystal that was attuned to him and constructing a weapon of his own design.

Anakin purposefully developed his lightsaber for aggression, favoring a wider hilt to deliver more powerful strikes. Luke ultimately chose to distance himself from this philosophy of lightsaber combat, choosing calmness and centeredness instead of passion and aggression. Thus he adopted Obi-wan's designs both to honor his first mentor and to favor a more precise, controlled form of lightsaber combat.

Saddest part is that It was anakin that ultimately lost the saber twice after fighting obi wan then again when he cut Luke’s hand off and it fell down the shaft on cloud city, I wonder if he had any thoughts about it

Shadows of the Empire goes into detail about Luke constructing his new saber in between the events of Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It's not totally canon but it's a great book. He probably hated Anakin's saber because whenever he thinks about it, he's reminded of having to navigate the bowels of Bespin with one hand.
