So it made him insecure, and he resolved to fix it in a way that would... make him more powerful... instead of talking to people about these feelings and working through the feeling of sacrifice, the loss of his hand and coming to terms with his new hand, or even removing it and learning how to use his other hand. A lesson in humility and the strength of patience and resilience. The strength of the light.

Also in the Brotherhood novel Anakin thinks Padme sees him as inferior now with the arm and he sees there's slight delays with his movements with it too.

Also, in the Brotherhood novel, it says that his mechanical arm had a delay. It was almost unnoticeable, only like a quarter of a second, but it bothered Anakin everytime he wanted to move it, and he felt it would never be as good as an actual hand

Anakin’s robo-arm is canonically much stronger than normal human limbs. You can see in ROTS and TCW he uses more powerful strikes than in AOTC
