Much of the organic asparagus at my local stores are the size of seconds. I assumed the asparagus were smaller because it was organic 🤯 I feel cheated!

Safeway in Oregon is the only place I can find thick asparagus. Everywhere else, especially the southeast, has seconds.

I had heard before that the skinny asparagus was from baby asparagus plants and as the years pass the asparagus starts to grow thicker, glad to know that’s not the case!!
