These are actually really good synergies that people dont think about immediately. When you said curse of the tower, i thought pyromaniac, when you said wiz i thought homing, and for gnawed leaf i thought orbitals

Gnawed leaf is an SS+ item in my opinion. It is pretty much an instant win or sets you up for an instant win with only 2 or 3 extra items. It snowballs you so hard for the price of patience

Fun fact. Curse of the tower troll bombs have the same properties of your regular bombs so if you pickup brim bombs then the curse of the tower bombs will shoot brimstone

Gnawed Leaf is low key, my absolute favourite item in the entire game. One orbital, and you can even kill Delirium with base stats. Even better, something that follows the enemies.

I've been playing The Binding of Issac since it was nothing but a flash game WAAAAY back when I was in highschool. I actually used to play the game in English class the time. I once got Curse of the Tower along with Safety Scissors, which provided me with infinite bombs for the entire run.

Apparently leaf also works really well with ludivico technique as you can deal damage to enemies who only stay in one spot for the entire match without having to deal with the enemies
