Finding the Correct Jumper Cable

After needing a jump and being told my 8 gauge, 12 foot jumper cable was too short, I upgraded to a 2 gauge 20 foot cable. The thickness between the cables and weight difference is very obvious. It wasn’t long before I used the cable to jumpstart a truck from my tiny little car which I found hilarious.

I suggest 20-25FT personally. Anything shorter is a pain esp if your in a place that's not safe. I like 4 gauge and lower. It's worth buying a nice set the first time.
