Dip a strawberry in that fluff and then cook it over the fire. We do that with regular fluff and it makes an amazing fire pit treat

I found it in the store 2 or 3 months ago and had to get it for the same reason - my childhood! I loved sneaking spoonfuls of fluff when I got home from school. We used it for making fudge and PB fluff sandwiches.
I think your assessment was spot on, except there was another fluff out there a few years ago by another company (can’t remember their name). The other company used mainly rice syrup to make it and it wasn’t anywhere as good as Dandies.

This is the first marshmallow replacement that I've seen that does not use carrageen. It's always been controversial as it can be very problematic for many folks' stomach function and inflammation ( I therefore avoid it) . So this is something that I might try, and use very sparingly since it's just thickened sugar.
