Funny you should say that...
For the last 30 years I've been using the long run, the slow long run (we used to call it the LSD -Long Slow Distance in the 80's) to handle when I could feel sickness comming.
And that is REALLY slow run for 45 minutes minimum or preferably 90 minutes.
If I got really sick, then just walking, dressed in sweaters and jackets and hat in warm weather, because I had a fever and couldnt keep warm.
It's a wonder drug!!!
