Most impo tip! At 1:10.
After over 2 years I solved the problem of weird sounds from toilet. Fill valve was set to less water. I adjusted it to more + (Toto has a +/- indicator on fill valve). Water should fill to about 1/2 an inch from top of overflow pipe. Water was only filling to 1 inch below the top of the overflow pipe. So I basically didn't have enough water in the tank for the pressure/system to work right. No more screeching or dripping sounds. Flapper had been replaced nearly 3 years ago, and was still good.

Fixed it myself with your guidance. All it needed was a slight adjustment on the fill valve to slightly lower the water level using a screw driver and a turn to the left. The drain pipe is quite low and therefore it needed to be adjusted accordingly

Thank you for this. I knocked the float when I was replacing a valve a month ago and left the toilet with an annoying intermittent flushing noise. Now sorted. Ta v much! 😊👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
